Pre-selection is underway, and as some predicted, it seems this far into the game, Asmodians take the lead. The guys over at Aion have published a list that shows the current server lockouts and restrictions as of 5:06 PM PST.

[West] Siel
[East] Israphel - Elyos Only
[Oceanic] Nezekan - Elyos Only
[East] Zikel - Temporarily Locked
[West] Vaizel - Elyos Only
[East] Triniel - Temporarily Locked
[West] Kaisinel - Elyos Only
[East] Lumiel - Temporarily Locked
[West] Yustiel - Elyos Only
[East] Marchutan - Elyos Only
[West] Ariel
[East] Azphel - Temporarily Locked

If a server is temporarily closed or temporarily only accepting characters for one of the races, it may still open up at a later point. Be sure to check the updated list over at Aion's official site, which includes the status of the European servers as well. Good luck getting in with your friends!

Update: 9/19 at 11:30 AM: - The server restrictions have been increased and all servers are currently open for new characters!
